Unfortunately, you cannot book a table on our outdoor terrace in advance. As there are many people who want to sit outside, we only accept bookings at the terrace itself. However, it is possible to book a table inside.

Yes, you can bring your dog to Strandpaviljoen Zoomers! However, your four-legged friend must be kept on a leash inside.

We are open 365 days a year from 9am.

Yes indeed, beach hotel Zoomers belongs to the same owners, which is why we call it our ‘sister’. There is close cooperation with arrangements etc.

There is a large car park in Castricum aan Zee just 100 metres away from Strandpaviljoen Zoomers. The rate depends on the date and time of entry. There are a number of charging points for electric vehicles.

Don’t feel like paying? At the beginning of the dunes there are car parks where you can park for free.

There are 60 solar panels at our pavilion. We also use honest, sustainable and local products as much as possible. We serve Earth coffee, use ecological cleaning products, have LED lighting, energy-efficient appliances and biscuits without packaging. Of course, we also pay attention to as little foodwaste as possible. There are plenty of other measures on our agenda, after all, there is no planet B!

Yes, during summer holidays, a free shuttle runs twice an hour between Castricum NS station and Castricum aan Zee, with a stop at Bakkum campsite. First bus: 11:00 AM from the station, last: 7:00 PM from the beach.

Taking your dog to the beach is great!

In Castricum aan Zee, dogs are allowed:
1 Oct – 30 Apr: all day
1 May – 30 Sep: before 10:00 AM and after 7:00 PM

Even on a leash or in bad weather, these rules apply. And don’t forget to clean up after your dog!

If you’re staying in a beach house, dogs are welcome — but only on the footpath.

The Castricum Municipality has ruled that between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, the beach west of the footpath is off-limits to dogs.

This also applies to dogs of beach pavilion visitors.
